Suggest Treatment For Severe Cough

Hillo doc,I m 26 years female, suffering from severe cough since 1 month. initially i use to spit the mucus coming in my throat. later the cough has become dry. i m taking tablet hetrazan. but doubtful if it is used in dry cough. can u plz let me know if i m taking the right medicine. if not the right medication for my problem.thanks priya
