Suggest Treatment For Severe Coughing At Night

Hi! My cough has been making my nights sleepless. Based on my research it might have been post nasal drip. I had colds, and fever last monday. Fevers gone by tues but my cough and colds remain. There's itch in my throat to the point that im goin to vomit but the food just goes straight on top of my throat and never goes out of my mouth! It hurts like hell! :( huhuhu i terribly want to sleep!!!! My doctor gave me two antibiotics, carbocistiene, sinecod etc. she said it is lower respiratory tract infection but she forgot to prescribe meds for my colds :( i had to ask her. Help
