Suggest Treatment For Severe Depression

Hello, I have recently been put off work by my GP due to depression/stress and harassment in the work place. I have been assessed by a psychiatrist and he is stating a major depressive episode. I have applied for workers compensation and they state that there are specifics when it comes to depression, I am just wondering if my diagnosis would even be eligible.
