Suggest Treatment For Severe Gastritis And Vomiting

I have been sick for 5 weeks now they first thought it was peptic ulcer then after gi on the 23 of February they said it was gastricus all I have been able to eat is beef broth chicken broth Gatorade until 3 days ago I ate some. Cream chicken soup then yesterday I keep half tuna sandwich down today I had toasted cheese and scrambled eggs this morning and the tonight I had a hot dog this seemed to make go to hurting worse again I have been feeling sick to my stomach with it but not vomiting but had diareihia and everything I ate was running through me until 3 days ago last 3 days eating a little better but the pain is still there it is right around my left rib cage and eating or lifting seems to make it worse they also said I have gerd and stretched my esphogus should it take this long to get better or should I be going back again ?
