Suggest Treatment For Severe Migraine And Headache

I am a 20 year old full time college student who has chronic mirgranes. I have been told that getting your tragus pierced will stop headaches. I have had a cat scan and it came back normal. The neurologist diganosed it as heredity headaches that are brought on by stress. I am taking propanolol and it has helped a little, I used to get headaches everyday and now I am down to about 1 a week. Would that piercing be beneficial to headaches at all? If not, what else can i do to help curb headaches
