Suggest Treatment For Severe Neck Pain

i would be very gratfol if you can help me,over the past 3 weeks or so ive developed severe pain in the left side of my neck the pain has now passed into my left shoulder an going down my left arm giving me numness an tinggling in my fingers i went to hospital they only gave me pain killers which have done nothing for me ,whats my proplem an the bset way to cure this
