Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain Across Back Radiating To Lower Legs

My partner is 34 and has been diagnosed with herniated bulging discs L4, L5 & S1. He has severe pain across his back and down his left leg from buttocks to top of his foot and also pain is starting to shoot down his right leg also. He has had a CT guided Perinural injection and 2 epidurals which seemed to relieve for a few days. He is unable to stand on tip toes as previously tested from the doctor when this was first a problem. What would you suggest now he do? He has been in this amount of pain for about 6 months now. What do we do?
