Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain Under Armpit

For last two weeks I've been getting SEVERE lightning bolt stabbing pain on right side a few inches under armpit! It can be any time, resting , working an d a few times felt like a shock and actually made me jump out of bed. It is very sharp and always in the exact same spot , directly across from right breast under armpit. i'm a 48 year old male. The pain sometimes lasts upwards of a minute then goes away fast and then stabs right back in a few minutes. I get episodes almost daily and going to sleep last night was difficult as it began just as i was falling asleep! Also I think I try rubbing the area , thinking it's muscle cramp/ ache, etc. but that never affects it, it feels like right inside of ribs!
