Suggest Treatment For Severe Sore Throat And Fever

Hi. My daughter is 15 with no medial history. Developed sore throat this past Friday that lasted a day or two. Tuesday she woke up with lymph nodes swollen and sore on left side of neck and complained of chest feeling tight. Was seen in ER Tuesday evening where she had low grade fever of 99.4F after taking motrin a few hours before. Diagnosed her with pharyngitis. Did rapid strep which was negative. Gave her amoxicillin and claritin scripts. Yesterday she woke up and upper eyelids very swollen which has continued. Her main complaints are feeling tight when breathing, swollen eyelids, headache, and backache. The only different thing around the house was a new kitten which has now been given to friends of family and her starting birth control about 2 weeks ago. Could this be allergic reaction to cat.
