Suggest Treatment For Severe Tinnitus Along With Fever

I have an appointment in the morning with an ENT in search of relief from severe tenitus with an associated fever of 101 degrees Fahrenheit. However, it seems that I have some symptoms of pleurisy or similar. I thought about checking into an ER but I hate to miss my ENT appointment because my ears may be infected and could be the basis for most of my troubles. What do you recommend?
