Suggest Treatment For Sharp Pain In Upper Abdomen

I have a sharp piercing pain in my upper abdomen. It is in the center right under my rib cage. I woke up really hot in a sweat to this pain. As long as I stay rolled up with my knees to my chest the pain is not too bad. But otherwise it is excruciating. What could this be and how could I stop the pain
