Suggest Treatment For Shingles On Left Forehead Spreading Towards Eye

My husband has shingles on his left forehead. It gravitated to his left eye. He is on 2 types of eye drops as well as Valtrex for the rash. Since he started taking these meds, his eyes have swollen pretty bad with fluid filled bags underhis eyes. Could this possibly be related to the meds? the swelling didn't start until after the medds were introduced. He does not have shinglesin his right eye, but the swelling is on bothe sides. thanks
