Suggest Treatment For Shingles

I was diagnoised with Shingles 2 Weeks ago, Since the onset the blisters aare almost healed but the pain is unbearable. Since I have had the shingles I can't hardly sleep and been having really bad dreams and or nightmares. I s just a part of shingles or is there something else going on? Please help me. I think I am losing my mind.
