Suggest Treatment For Short Term Memory Loss And Seizure Disorder

I have had short term memory loss most of my life. it was due to a head injury. I can only keep one thing at a time on my mind. if i m distracted than that thought is gone. lately I have been getting worse. what can I do to slow the progress? I have seizure disorder as well. I am on tegrotol .
