Suggest Treatment For Shortness Of Breath And Dizziness

My father, D, is 80 yo, with SOB X 5 months, worsening of SOB X 3 weeks together with dizziness, fatigue. He sees a cardiologist next tuesday. Currently has HTN, arthritis. Recent CT scan showed two cysts on his pancreas but no other finding. He is taking aspirin 81 mg 2 tabs daily. I am his daughter, an ARNP.
I plan to visit him this weekend in Oregon. I live in WA state. Trying to see him to determine if he can make it through the weekend without hospitalization. Any advice?
