Suggest Treatment For Sinus Infection And Tongue Thrush

About 6 weeks ago my ,otherwise healthy ,35 year old son with down syndrome developed a tongue thrust. Our Dr. discovered some earwax buildup and sinus infection which was treated by antibiotics. He was also given steroids for possible allergies and blood was tested for possible thyroid problem which proved negative.All to no avail- requires soft diet and speech is affected.
