Suggest Treatment For Skin Burn

what would be best to put on a burn. it is a burn from an oven, on the wrist. it happened about four days ago and does not want to heal. it is quite red and open. I was using vitamin e oil on it. should I continue with this or use something else? thank you for your reply.
