Suggest Treatment For Skin Rashes On The Face

For months, I have had a slightly reddish, very slightly raised patch of skin on left side of my face. It does not hurt or itch, probably covers a couple of square inches and is barely obvious but never goes away. Could it be something serious I should have checked? I could not get the website to accept the last 3 digits of my cr card number.
