Suggest Treatment For Skin Tag In Fold Of Legs

I am a female. A couple of years ago I started to have severe itching in the folds of my legs. Soon, a skin tag developed (diagnosed by my doctor). Just recently, I started noticing that the skin tag was getting larger and just last week realized that it had taken on the shape of a penis. The skin around it is very much like testical skin, which is very alarming. I've been searching online for cases like mine to no avail. I am married and very scared to tell my husband. What should I do?
