Suggest Treatment For Slight Curving Of The Epiglottis

I am 69 year old male, recently I have a slight sensation of a slight obstruction when swallowing saliva. I do not have any problem with swallowing food and fluid. I saw a ENT specialist today, he did the usual fiber optic examination finding all visual examination to be normal except he did notice a slight curling of the epiglottis. He send me away but did not say much about the epiglottis, is the interference felt during my swallowing reflex associated with the observed curl epiglottis. What causes my sensation in my throat, is there more underlying pathology ? please advise.
