Suggest Treatment For Slow Healing Process Of Ankle Sprain

My daughter sprained her ankle 6 months ago and has made very little progress in healing. She has pain under the arch of her foot and all the way up the posterior tibial muscle. She also gets a burning sensation on her ankle joint and tingling in her toes. The pain is much more severe when excersising and painful to touch when not. X-rays and ultra sounds have found no problems. What do u think is wrong?
