Suggest Treatment For Sore , Red Patches Under Armpit

I had a baby 7 weeks ago and have been breast feeding. I am not sure if this is related to very sore, red patches under my armpits. The skin has gone very dry and almost like a flat scab/flaky skin. My sister said her partner had something similar and suggested it was Mrsa. I have had to remove my engagement ring as my finger under it has become very itchy and where I have scratched it, I had small blisters come up and it has now become very red and scabby too- I am not sure if this is also related to the underarm condition. it has been like this for about two weeks and although it is not as sore as it was initially, it does not seem to be going away. What do you think it could be?
