Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat And Fever

my son has some what looks like white puss on the left side of his throat could this be strep throat? he is not complaining of sore throat. he is congested little bit of fever not big. in june and aug he had strep throat and doctor did test to see if he was a carrier. didnt get call back so im guessing he isnt carrier?
