Suggest Treatment For Soreness On The Side Of Cheeks

It is probably a little embarrassing but i wanted to find out how to overcome this problem.
Me and my girlfriend usually have oral sex but every time she develops soreness and rash/small spots on the side of her cheeks and tongue. It irritates her for upto 3 weeks and she has problems eating and having hot drinks. In the past she went to the doctor and got some antibiotics, but she feels embarrassed to go there because she has to tell the doctor. Is there anything she can have prior or after over the counter medication to prevent this from happening?
