Suggest Treatment For Spreading Lichen Planus

HI, I am 31 year old girl, I am having lichen planus and it spreading very actively on my body, I have consulted a doctor he had given me some medicines but once i stopped taking medicine.. it spreading actively.. and now i have no idea whom to believe and whom to consult for the treatment.. is there any way i can prevent this.
