Suggest Treatment For Stage 4 Colon Cancer

My mom has just been diganosed with stage 4 colon cancer. She can not start any treatments until after she heals from the operation. What are the Next steps for her? I am 50, and will get a colonoscopy ASAP - I m trying to figure out the best place to obtain on; and If it should be Virtual (though my ensurance will not cover a Virtual test....) Please advise.
