Suggest Treatment For Staph Infection

I am 42 years old. 5 feet 4 and 170 lbs. I have been dealing with these open sores on my scalp for a number of years now. I have been diagnosed with having a staph infection of the scalp. I was given doryx to take for 30 days. This seems to resolve the problem temporarily. Any suggestions on how i can get rid of this problem all together?
