Suggest Treatment For Stroke And Vaginal Yeast Infection

My wife recently suffered several mini strokes and as a result, I am her 24/7 caregiver. I am her husband Daniel and would like to know if a yeast infection from her vagina can travel to her bladder and kidneys? She urinates every 15 to 30 minutes and has limited output. She complains of side and back pain while urinating. I have been treating her with a vaginal medication that is injected in to relieve the symptoms.
