Suggest Treatment For Stuffed Nose And Throat

my mom is here in the mountains of Colorado with me. she is from tx. she started with a stuffed nose. then it became a sore throat. she took NyQuil and it did nothing. now her throat is waking her up at night and ibuprofen wont work, only Tylenol helps. she has also tried allergy pills. (Zyrtec) plus Kroger brand nasal decongestant. of course none of these at the same time. now she is only taking Tylenol because she says its the only thing that helps. no fever. now there is visible drainage and a moist cough. is there anything i can do for her? we also brought out our humidifier. this is the first night with it so i do not know if it would help.
