Suggest Treatment For Sudden Gargling And Incoherent Speech

My mom has been admitted to the hospital because of sudden garbling or incoherent speech, plus she suddenly for no apparent reason can no longer walk even with the aid of her rolling walker. So far they have not found any sign that she has had a stroke, nor has anything else specific shown up in any of the tests. She has been in the hospital just over 24 hours and we will have to be moving her to a nursing home soon. Still she is not talking coherently, an occasional HI or Yeah, but not in a rational manner. Otherwise she is just talking gibberish
