Last night while working out I was doing a warm up exercise where we were doing lunges and twisting our upper body. While doing this I felt a pop and sudden pain in my hip area, in the front. I was able to rub it some and move it around to the point it didn t hurt too badly and finished the class. The front of my hip, has swollen and it is sore and stiff today. I have iced it and been taking ibuprofen. Is this likely a strained muscle/tendon situation or should I have it looked at. The pain is basically from the very top of my quads, up to the middle point of my hip, only in the front.
