Suggest Treatment For Swelling And Bruising On Leg After An Injury

Last week my husband s legs were smashed by a pick up truck. X- rays showed nothing broke but he has a ruptured muscle. The swelling and bruising is moving down his legs to his feet. His foot and ankle are swollen and dark bruising. Almost the whole foot. Do I need to take him back to the hospital?
