Suggest Treatment For Swelling And Spot On Breast

I had a spot on my breast just next to the nipple. After two days or so, it started getting tender and my breast swelled slightly. Then, it popped by itself and a lot of puss and blood came out of it. I was then left with a hole about 2 mm deep and wide,it eventually scabbed over and the same thing happened again, but with less discharge. Is this an infection?
