Suggest Treatment For Swelling Around Eye Brow Caused By An Injury

My son clashed heads during football. A large swelling has appeared at the top of his nose and a cross his left eye/eye brow. We have applied several cold compresses and some of the swelling has reduced. He has slight headache, but everything else is fine. Is there anything else I could do apart from observation
