Suggest Treatment For Swelling In Belly Button

i gotton my belly button pierced 4monthes ago and i dont know how this happend but it has a little tear on it and it is getting really swollen it looks like its a blister on it but i do know i has torn a little because it burns and its bleeding every now and then when i try to clean it.. can i take it out to let the swelling go down or what can i do its been 4monthes almost 5?????
