Suggest Treatment For Swelling In Cheek And Lip

Hi my son (7yrs) hurt is face as he feel through a woodern bench table, he had very bad swelling His right cheek and top lip. now gone after 5 weeks he still has a dark line on his cheek and his top lip does not move when smile. Our doctor says give it time to mend.
