Suggest Treatment For Swelling In The Feet And Ankles

I have diabetes...my feet & ankles are swollen & its getting difficult to walk...i can't keep my balance...I don't know when my feet are touching the floor...I have numbness in both legs from the knee down...i think its neuropathy...can this be helped?...im 46 yrs old & can't walk very well.
