Suggest Treatment For Swelling In The Finger Caused By Broken Finger Nail

i knocked my fingernail and s I have acrylic nails, rather than breaking normally it broke very nearly at the bottom and came away at both sides, but is still attatched at the bottom below the break. My finger is very swollen and hot, how do I treat it?
