Suggest Treatment For Swelling In Veins Caused After Injecting Methamphetamine

My friend injected meth into her hand to be specific she hit the vein behind her thumb and its swollen up her hand. Itdoes notburn so i dont think she hit an artery but what can i do shes in huge pain she feels it throbbing. And its become red. What cam i do?
