I am a woman 32 years old and I have had surgury to remove a swollen Bartholin Gland nine months ago. about four days ago and imediatly after sexual intercourse I started having some pain that I recognized as the bartholin gland. this was a burning type pain. today, 4 days after the pain started the swelling appeared and there is in adition to the burning pain there is also an itching and pressure. also about this time the pain got worse. I notice it more when I am sitting down. also today, I noticed that there is a scent that resembles a fish odor coming from my vagina. visually inspecting my vaginal area I notice a large hole where the surgury took place and the swelling is on the gland before the hole. there is also a slight milky white discharge coming from my vagina. I am taking frequent baths as I read online that they can help. I need your advice about this. I also have another question as well, I know that sexual intercourse is out of the question. would masturbation be helpful in my case?
