Suggest Treatment For Swelling Of Penis

My brother was discharged from the hospital today. He had a bleeding ulcer and lost 10 pints of blood. He called me concerned because he states his penis is swollen. I don't know if he should go back to the hospital for this. He has recently had an infected prostate. He completed the antibiotics for that. He said that he felt the need to urinate but when he actually went not a lot of urine came out.
