Suggest Treatment For Swollen And Red Skin Growth Under The Arm

Hi, my husband has what I presume is called a polyp under his arm. At first it was just pink and uncomfortable from time to time, but it was swollen, turned dark red and yesterday it seemed to rupture. We had been trying to take the pressure off by lightly bandaging the area, but it didn't seem to work.
