Suggest Treatment For Swollen Tonsils

Hi I have a 15 year old daughter and her tonsils are swollen.... She has seen a local ears, nose and throat specialist but he doesn't want to take them out... They swell up the first signs of a cold and this happens at least 1x a month.... Looking for a specialist in southern Ontario who is good at their job and will do something about these tonsils
