Suggest Treatment For Swollen,red And Painful Cyst On Back

Hi i have a doctors appt schedule in two weeks that is the first available appt time i could get, but i need to do something to help with the discomfort now. I have a cyst on my back and about a week ago it became very swollen,red and purple, and its causing so much pain what can i do at home till i see the doc? Thank you for your help.
