Suggest Treatment For Symptoms Of Pain, Swellings, Flares And Fevers

my 31 yr old Daughter was just diagnosed with RA . first she was being treated for Lupus. both tests came back negative but her DR. said she has all the markers for RA she wants to start her on steroids and methotrexate. is this the best treatment for her ? she is a single Mom of8 yr old twins, and can hardly do anything because of pain swelling and flares, fevers almost daily. any info would be appreciated, thanks.
