Suggest Treatment For Tailbone Injury

Back in July of this past summer, I was sliding in softball practice and landed on my tailbone harder than I should have. Whenever I go to the bathroom or when I sit in a certain position, it hurts extremely bad. Have I just bruised it? What do you think? What are ways my tailbone can heal?
