Suggest Treatment For Testicular Torsion

Hello sir, I had testicular torsion last night just after a rough masturbation. i am 25 years old. the right testes was fixed manually and the blood flow after that was regular. I am currently in the USA and the doctor suggested me that you should get the surgery done. My question to you is that it is strongly recommended to get the surgery now or can I come to india and stay with my family and get this done. Do I really need this surgery? How much time should I wait before being sexually active again after manual detorsion.
