Suggest Treatment For The Blister Formed On The Finger

So I trapped my thumb in a door, and it resulted in some mild bleeding from a 'flap' of skin on the palmside, and an impressive dent near my knuckle. The dent went away mostly but the flap has healed around a pocket of blister fluid and the swelling of my thumb has resulted in taking NSAIDs overnight to ease the pain. Should I see a doctor about this? My thumb feels warm and stiff but I'm reluctant to pop the blister in case it creates a genuine infection.
