Suggest Treatment For The Cracked Nail With Blood Underneath

I slammed my index finger in the door by mistake. Went to an emergency care doctor. A splint was placed on the finger. The doctor was unsure if the finger was fractured b/c one of the x rays indicated a line where the injury occurred. However, her results needed to be confirmed by the radiologist. I contacted the dr's office today to follow up on the x rays and informed them that the finger was still bleeding and today there was clear liquid. The hands hurt everywhere, not just where the injury occurred. I can't bend the upper part of the finger. The doctor asked that i come back today, and that he wanted to keep the splint on for ten days. This is not my pcp, and the nurse informed me that there was no fracture. Whar should I do? The entire hand hurts, the nail is cracked thru the skin, and it is covered with blood underneath the nail.
