Suggest Treatment For The Pain After Triple Bypass Surgery

This is a qoute from my Mom almost 3 months post op (surgery was 2/7/11) of triple by pass, should I have a concern of her taking the pain meds? Is this normal feelings after triple bypass, or should I have concerns?
